Hello,
If you have already completed a diploma and want to take admission through CUET, then the syllabus depends on the course and university you are applying for.
CUET mainly tests subjects like:
General Test (Basic maths, reasoning, GK)
Language (English or any other chosen language)
Domain-specific subjects (like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, etc.)
Check the syllabus of the specific course you want to apply for. Each course and university may have different subject requirements.
Hope it helps !
Hello Aspirant,
If you are in a position of choosing EEE at NMAMIT, Nitte or CSE (AI & ML) at Sahyadri College, Mangalore, then I present the following comparison:
If you want a career in tech, coding or with AI, I recommend opting for CSE in AI and ML at Sahyadri. If you intend to follow core engineering pathways better and more established through reputation, I suggest EEE at NMAMIT.
With ST rank 25,678 and CRL 9,33,567 in JEE Mains 2025 , your chances in JoSAA are very low, especially for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, even in lower branches. That’s why you haven’t got any seat till Round 3.
Here’s what you can do now:
1. JoSAA Remaining Rounds: There is a very small chance, but not guaranteed. You may still wait till Round 5 and 6, but don’t fully depend on it.
2. CSAB Counselling: Yes, you should definitely go for CSAB . Sometimes seats remain vacant after JoSAA, and you may get a chance in lower branches or less popular GFTIs/NITs. CSAB is your best chance now.
3. OJEE Counselling: This is also a good backup option. Since you're focusing on government colleges, keep following OJEE rounds actively.
The number of seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) in a BCA course depends on the college and state government rules. Usually, ST reservation is 7.5% in central universities and varies between 7% to 15% in state colleges , based on the state policy.
Please check the specific college or university website for the exact seat details.
BCA 1st-year admission last date depends on the college or university. Here are some general deadlines for 2025:
IGNOU (Distance BCA): Last date is 15 July 2025.
Delhi University (DU SOL): Admission open till 15 August 2025.
Madhya Pradesh (DTE BCA counselling): Registration closed on 1 July 2025, and final admission by 16 July 2025.
So, the exact last date will depend on the college you are applying to.

All the best for your counselling process.
B.Tech (CS) is generally considered better than B.Sc. (CS) if you want to make a strong career in engineering or tech fields. It has a more in-depth syllabus, better job scope, and is more valued by companies.
However, if you are getting B.Sc. (CS) from JIIT Noida-62 and don’t have a good B.Tech option, you can go for it. JIIT has good faculty and placements.
But if you have a chance to do B.Tech (CS) from a decent college, go for B.Tech. It offers better growth in the long run.

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Wadala
Atharva College of Engineering, Malad
Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mahim
St. Francis Institute of Technology, Borivali

Yes, with a 622 rank in IPU CET for MBA and being a Delhi candidate, you have a good chance of getting admission in MAIT (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology).
You don’t need to worry about not giving the CAT exam. IPU CET rank is enough for admission in MAIT under the CET quota.
Just make sure to keep MAIT high in your preference list during counselling.
