How to get into IIIT PUNE for mca after bsc it

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 9th Aug, 2025

To get into IIIT Pune for MCA after a BSc IT, you need to follow the NIMCET route, as IIIT Pune admits MCA students through the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test conducted by NITs. Here’s the process:

  1. Eligibility – You must have studied Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or in graduation. Your BSc IT qualifies, provided you meet this condition and have at least 60% aggregate (55% for reserved categories).

  2. NIMCET Exam – Apply for NIMCET (usually Jan–Mar), prepare for subjects like Mathematics, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English.

  3. Score & Rank – Your NIMCET rank determines admission; IIIT Pune’s MCA cut-off usually falls within the top 2,000–3,000 ranks.

  4. Counselling – Participate in NIMCET counselling, choose IIIT Pune as a preferred option, and lock your choice based on your rank.

  5. Document Verification & Admission – Submit required documents, pay fees, and confirm your seat.

If your rank isn’t enough for IIIT Pune directly, you can still get MCA in another good NIT/IIIT and later switch or network for opportunities.

Sir my rank 10971 in apemacet BCA can i get admission in govt veterinary college

tanvi bansal 18th Jul, 2025

Dear Aspirant

With a rank of 10,971 in AP EAMCET under the BC-A category, it is important to note that you are not eligible for admission to government veterinary colleges in Andhra Pradesh through this exam. From 2023 onwards, AP EAMCET is no longer valid for veterinary admissions in the state. Instead, all admissions to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) programs in government colleges, like SVVU Tirupati, NTR College of Veterinary Science Gannavaram, and Proddatur, are strictly based on NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores. This change has been made across India according to guidelines from the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). Therefore, to pursue a veterinary course in Andhra Pradesh, you must take NEET-UG and score competitively, ideally around 400 to 500 marks or more, depending on your reservation category. For BC-A candidates, the cutoff can vary each year based on seat availability and competition, but aiming for a score above 500 improves your chances of getting into a government veterinary college. If you have not taken NEET this year or wish to improve your score, you may consider preparing for the next attempt. Meanwhile, you can explore other options through AP EAMCET, such as BSc Agriculture, Horticulture, or Pharmacy, where your rank may still be useful.

Can I get admission in CV Raman Global University Bhubaneswar in Btech lateral entry in Electronics and Communication Engineering, in the basis of OJEE rank? If yes, then what will be the cut off for eligibility

Kishan Bhakat 12th Jun, 2025

hi,

Yes, you can get admission in CV Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar for B.Tech lateral entry in Electronics and Communication Engineering through your OJEE rank. The college accepts diploma holders for lateral entry based on OJEE counselling. Usually, if your OJEE rank is within a decent range, you have a good chance. For ECE, the cutoffs are generally not very high, and students with ranks even up to a few lakhs have got seats in the past.

If your rank is within 3 to 4 lakh, you should have a good chance of getting admission comfortably. Even with a slightly higher rank, you might still get a seat in later counselling rounds.

I have got 102 marks in hpcet can I get any govt college of btech

Rupsa Banerjee 14th Jun, 2025

Dear aspirant,

It's possible to get a seat in a government college in Himachal Pradesh with 102marks in HPCET. If you belong to a reserved category like SC, ST or other your chances are higher but if you are from General category then scores around 100-120 are considered as competitive in most branches. The specific cut off will vary in each college and branches. The number of seats available in your preferred college will also influence your chances. So check the cut offs of your preferred government college .

Good luck.
