1. I am confused between BM Sharma and DC Pandey for Physics for JEE Advanced, which should I follow? 2. Is HC Verma still needed if I follow one of these two books mentioned above?
As JEE advanced requires Higher order thinking skills, you must clear your very basic fundamentals. You should first start with your NCERT books for Physics. Clear all your concepts and then move on to Concepts of Physics HC Verma as this book is the classic book to get into the depth of physics.
Once you get comfortable with HC Verma you can move on to other books like DC Pandey and BM Sharma.
If you take coaching for JEE, then you should go with BM Sharma or if you don't go for coaching, then you should go for DC Pandey as it will help you clear your theory part
