General Nursing and  Midwifery or GNM is a 3.5 years course in paramedics. Nursing and Midwifery focuses on the provision of care to individuals, families, and communities.

Eligibility criteria for this course is 10+2 level of education in the science stream from a recognized  board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Admission are done on the basis of merit and entrance both.

Course fee:- INR 20,000-1.5 lakhs depending on the university.

Average salary:- INR 2-5 lakhs per annum depending upon the university from which you have studied and experience too.

GNM graduates can work as a Staff Nurse, Home Nurse, Health Visitor & Community Health Worker. Also, minimum eligibility criteria is 50% in 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects. Also the age limit is 17-30 years. Average salary offered to the employees is around 4 lakhs per annum (depends on other factors).
