This depends on the counselling. Its always advisable for you to carry 2 Xerox copy of your 10th memo as well as the original memo. Keep all this documents at yourself if required you can show them if not then there is no loss. But in general the verifying officer checks the original memo and matches it with the information you have furnished for the counselling registration.
