What you say is actually right. The logic should be that these questions should not be deleted altogether. The authorities have a motive that if there has been any fault from the organisers side, it should have been removed before calculating results so that those faults don't have a role in preparation of merit list where even 1 marks matter. Thus to ensure a level playing field they delete the wrong answers and give marks to everyone.
I would suggest you to write proper authority figures and officials as a Feedback for the exam and they might think about it.

See this question is actually a debatable question . As you are attempting the question that means you know the answer if question an dyou are confident about it.
Other hand if someone is leaving a question then that means either he knows that question is wrong or he don't know anything about it. That's why they get marks .
