The academic qualification eligibility criteria to apply for WBJEE is that, you must have passed Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with individual passing marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in regular class mode. General Category students should have secured an aggregate of 45% and reserved category candidates should have scored 40% in PCM taken together to be eligible for WBJEE 2019. All candidates are required to have qualified English in 10+2 with at least 30% marks. The board of the qualifying examination must be recognized by Central and State government concerned.
Therefore, if you are from General Category, then you are not eligibile to apply. If you belong to reserved category and have 30% marks in English also, then you are eligibile to apply.
