Well, securing 87.96 percentile in JEE MAINS may not be enough for getting admission into NITs in your desired branch. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling since you're a SC candidate. You can apply for NIT AGARTALA, NIT ARUNANCHAL PRADESH, NIT PUDUCHERRY for getting your desired branch. So it is better if you apply for the colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting your desired branch are high.
