A friend in my locality told me that getting b.tech degree from ip is not so valuable??
Hey aspirant, few colleges of IPU like MSIT(Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology), MAIT(Maharaja Agrasen Institute of technology) and USIT(University School of Information and Technology) are considered to be reputed among various other engineering colleges in Delhi.
Actually, your friend answered you about the colleges on the basis of placements in most of the colleges of IPU university the majority of which are private.
But if you consider the top 5 government colleges of IPU for B.tech which also include above mentioned three colleges, then these colleges have good placement records(but not of the level of NITs).
Standard of teaching in these colleges is quite good and thus if you wanna go in the research field after B.tech then these IPU colleges are one of the best options available.

That is not true. Some of the top colleges like Vivekananda college and Maharaja Agrasen have very high value for Btech. A lot of good companies like Wipro, Mahindra tech etc. come there and also hire students by giving them very high package.
