Correct Answer: Rs. 90
Solution :
Cost price of 120 reams = Rs. 80 per ream
Total cost price = 120 × 80 = 9600
Transportation = Rs. 280
Cost of Octroi per ream = 40 paise
$\therefore$ Total cost of Octroi $=\frac{40}{100}\times120=48$
Cost of porter = Rs. 72
$\therefore$ Total investment = Rs. (9600 + 280 + 48 + 72) = Rs. 10000
For 8% profit, the selling price of 120 reams
= 108% of 10000
= $\frac{108}{100}\times10000$
= Rs. 10800
$\therefore$ Selling price per ream = $\frac{10800}{120}$ = Rs. 90
Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 90.
