The percentage of 25%=1/4 .Now Selling price=4 and the Price=1 Because he calculate profit on selling price and

here comes the formula

cost price=selling price-price Cost price=4–1=3

Now 3 unit =300

Then 1 unit=300/3.

From these formula you can calculate the same.
