Given,
Dimensions of a rectangular sheet = 45 × 30
Length of side of square = 10 m
Volume = l × b × h
Where l = length, b = breadth, h = height
As a square is cut off from each corner
⇒ 2 squares are cut off from each side
⇒ length = 45 – 2(10) = 45 – 20 = 25 m
⇒ breadth = 30 – 2 (10) = 30 – 20 = 10 m
⇒ height = side of the square = 10 m
⇒ Volume = l × b × h = 25 × 10 × 10 = 2500 m
