A soild sphere and a thin loop of equal messes m and redius R are harnessed toghether by rigging and free to roll without slipping down the plane. Neglect the mass of rigging , then compressive force in rigging will be
Hello,
Compressive force will be equal to N *sin (theta) if plane is inclined. if there is any other case then it will be summation of the force directed to the direction of rolling sphere. This is general answer and i can't derive it here. Better to ask your teacher to help you out. He/She can help you solve the question with steps and say you why this particular formula is used.
If you want to know the questions are solves with description then you can follow ask the physicist webpage. You can see how the questions are solved and even ask your questions too.
Hope it helps!
