Actually I have a question regarding admission in NIOS in class 12th. It's procedure and when the classees will start study materials and all the details and so and so

Dear Aspirant,

For admission into the NIOS board,15 years of age is needed as of 31st January of the year you are applying for.

You should have passed class 10th from a reputed educational board. You can apply for admission the last date is 31st January.

If you could not apply within the right time then you can apply till March 1 with the submission of late fee. Late fee will be different according to the date.

For general female candidates- Rs- 1650 which is the fees of 5 subjects and Rs- 720 is charged for additional subject

For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen / PwD category - Rs-1200 which is the fees of 5 subjects, Rs-720 is the fee for additional subjects.

The enrollment fee per subject is Rs-480.

The fee for study materials (each subject) is  Rs- 400.

If you wish to change subjects then payment for change of subject/ additional subject is Rs-720.

Rs-50 is the application form fee.

You can fill the online application form and pay the fees online by visiting the official website of NIOS. Payment can also be through offline mode in community service centers.

Documents which you need while filling the form are new passport size photo, signature in black ink, proper ID proof, DOB proof, address proof like Aadhar card, 10th mark card, Special category/ caste certificate, disability certificate (if applicable). These documents should be uploaded online.

After the successful submission of the application form and fees, study materials or books from NIOS will be delivered to your address within 15 days (except holidays) through the post.
