Since you have not mentioned the name of any particular examination or university for which you are applying, let me help you with the general procedure for getting application number-

First of all you need to visit the official website of the Examination authority conducting the entrance test or the university for which you have applied. Now, you need to go to application sections and then proceed to download admit card option. When you will get to that option, you will find that you need to enter your login credentials in order to download your admit card. So, fill in your login details and your admit card will have your application ID as well.
