Hi there aspirant!
So the admission procedure in any medical college is through NEET exam. With a score 300 in NEET, you can apply for colleges that have cutoff at 300. You can get easy asmission into any private college. However if you're from (SC,ST,OBC) you might get a good government college too.
Hope that helps!
Hi
Your profile suggests that you are in class 11 right now.
In India, NEET entrance exam is the single gateway to all the medical colleges for medical courses like MBBS BDS Ayush courses and BVSc
Here's how one can get into a medical college
* you should have chosen science stream BIOLOGY group i.e you should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English for your 10+2.
*Admission in all the medical colleges for Mbbs/ bds / bams etc is through NEET examination, So, along with your 10+2 keep preparing for Neet examination
* Pass your 12th with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i. e Physics, chemistry and biology in 12th examination if you belong to general category , or at least 45% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to ph category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st to be eligible for neet. Thank you
You just edited your question and added 300 score part, meanwhile when I was writing and posted the answer.
Anyway,
Considering you from general category, With 300 marks, your chances for government medical colleges is very low.
If you get 300 marks then you can try for admission in private medical colleges and for that also you will have to participate in counselling as admission in private medical colleges is through state counselling only.
To know the colleges you can get you can use our neet college predictor available at
