After achieving academic excellence in b.tech will the low marks of 12 will make any issue in further placements?
Respected sir,
If you do well in your B.Tech in the 4 years you do really well then no there is no chances left that anybody would ask about you 12th.
its only if your score will not be good in the four year curriculum of B.Tech.
Its only required else if you are gonna do your M.S or M.Tech or any master degree and nothing more than that.
12th doesn't matters a lot when you are doing your engineering but the 4 years matter that how you have performed.

Hello buddy, it's matter if you want to do MS , MBA from foreign universities , MBA from IIM and it's also matter for some companies but for most of the companies it does not matter. The things that matter are how well you perform during your 4 year of engineering in all the aspects I.e in extracurricular activities. You should have self confidence, good communication & leadership skills. All these things matter for placements point of view.
Best of luck for your future.
No,your 12th score doesn't matter at all.The thing matters is your experience, skills, knowledge, your graduation/post graduation marks etc.
Thanks..!!
Hello,
No the low score of your 12th won't affect your future placements.Usually the HR's are more concerned about your current situation and performance rather than a score card four year back.
All The best.

Hello Shubham Kumar. Thanks for contacting Careers360 and we hope we will be able to answer your query.
My brother faced the same situation during his college interviews (he graduated last year). Due to some personal reason, he couldn't perform well in his 12th board exam. He just got around 85%. But, he performed well in JEE Mains to get a seat in DTU.
He performed well in each semester to have a CGPA of around 9. But, he was asked in his interview as to why he got less marks in his 12th board exams. I am not aware of what answer he gave.
But, to tell you the truth, your answer to that question plays a very crucial role in your selection process. If you answer that my grandparents died, so I was very sad, the interviewers will look upon you as a very emotional person who cannot perform well when personal tragedy strikes him. So, there is a greater chance you will be rejected.
Hope this answer helps you and all the best!
