After "CET" what can we do. ?
Dear Aspirant,
After completing the CET (Common Entrance Test), the next steps involve checking your result and seeing your rank. Your rank will determine your eligibility for different courses and colleges. Once the results are out, you need to join the online counselling process run by the state authorities. For example, in Karnataka, it is managed by KEA, and in Maharashtra, by the MHT CET Cell. This process includes registering for counselling, uploading required documents, and paying the counselling fee. After you register, you must fill in and lock your preferred college and course choices based on your rank and interests. Document verification is an important step. This may take place online or at designated help centers, where you need to present both original and photocopies of the necessary documents. Once your documents are verified, the seat allotment process starts. If you get a seat, you can either accept it by paying the admission fee and reporting to the college or you can take part in further rounds if you are not satisfied. If you do not get a seat in your desired college or course, you can look into other options. These include private colleges through management quota, diploma to degree lateral entry programs, other entrance exams like JEE, NEET, or CUET, or even skill-based certification courses. It is important to choose a course that fits your interests and long-term career goals.
Best of Luck.
