After completing mbbs in aims again we have to write entrance exam for pg ?
If you wish to pursue MD/MS courses in India, there are a total of four Postgraduate medical exams you can apply for as a MBBS graduate - NEET PG, AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG and PGIMER. Apart from these, there are also the DNB (Diplomate of National Board) qualification exams conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). To pursue various MD/MS and PG Diploma courses from any postgraduate medical institute in India except AIIMS, JIPMER and PGIMER, it will be compulsory for you to appear for and clear NEET PG. To pursue MD/MS courses from AIIMS, JIPMER or PGIMER, you will be required to clear the respective entrance exams of these institutes. Same is the case for joining DNB courses - you will be required to clear the DNB exams held by the NBE. It does not matter where you have completed your MBBS from, joining PG courses will require you to appear for any of the above-mentioned entrance exams depending on the institute your seek to join or the course you seek to pursue.
