after deploma can i change my branh

Dear student,

Yes, after diploma you can change your Branch. If you take lateral entry in any college then you can definitely take admission in some other branch, or maybe the branch will be provided as per the given rank of entrance exam ( if any ).

So, suppose that you have done diploma from ece branch then you can change your branch to cse or It or electrical engineering etc in btech ( via lateral entry ).

Hello Aspirant,

Yes you can definitely change your branch into some other branch after pursuing diploma. But for that you need to qualify and secure a seat on your merit itself. The competition will increase and you need to secure good score and good merit rank as well to qualify in some other branch.

You can use the college predictor tool from careers360 which might help you to predict your own colleges:-

Thank you.

Good luck.
