After Diploma many engineering colleges releases there form for Btech 2nd yr lateral entry in their colleges you should apply for those colleges.
Some colleges might take your entrance test or some may not .
But most cases accepts the entrance exam called "ECET"
Depending on the ranking you will be allotted seat in engineering collges.
Same procedure of counseling and allotment takes place here .
