As the industry is moving towards digital practices,they are preferring students having technical background,not necessarily but it can be an added advantage.It does not matter which stream you are pursuing in B.tech. We can pursue MBA from any B.tech background. In MBA you can choose dual specialization of Marketing+ Operations.Why industry prefers people from B.tech background now a days because B.Tech people have analytical knowledge and MBA can help in Minimisation of cost.So when knowledge of B.tech and MBA comes together it can have a multiple effect in companies growth.Just focus that your basic is clear in both and always try to use theory into practical practices.

MBA is masters degree in business administration and the eligibility for MBA from top colleges and universities is minimum 50% marks in graduation. However, the graduation can be done in any discipline that is of 3,4 or 5 years it doesn't matter. Common admission test(CAT) is the biggest exam for MBA from some of the top colleges in India. You may choose whatever you like and passionate about. But be thorough with the subjects, it will help you in cracking those interviews.

So, you can choose any branch in Engineering based on your interest, ability and knowledge.
