Dear aspirant,

If you have 10 wrong answers in a particular subject your marks will be deducted from that subject and this will  reflect in your total as well. If you get 20 right answers and 10 wrong answers in maths and let's say you scored 100 in physics and chemistry.

Your total marks would be.

20 * 4 - 10 = 70

Your total would be 100 + 70 = 170.

Your wrong answers would reflect in your individual subject total and percentile but for qualifying for jee advanced there is no individual cut off and hence, it won't matter to a great extent.
