If you are applying through ESIC IP (Insured person) Quota, with a NEET score of 608, You are the closing threshold for general category under the ESIC IP quota. General category under ESIC IP quota in 2024 closed at 622 marks. Last rank approx. 52630. In 2023 it closed even higher at 625 and in 2022 at 656. If you are OBC or EWS, the cutoffs were also around 620 plus and if you are under SC/ST category the closing marks drop significantly to 480 and 301 respectively.
So, conclusion,
- General category with 608 marks slightly below the recent general cutoff of 620-622+. You may get in during later round mop-up or stray vacancy round but no guarantee.
- For OBC/EWS also typically close to around 620+, so again you are on the border line.
- But for SC/St category your score is well above the cutoff, Making admission quite likely.
