Am I able to study in jadavpur

To take admission in Jadavpur University you need to appear in the WBJEE EXAM held every year. Every year the paper is quite easy as compared to the JEE MAINS paper and you don't need to put any extra efforts if you are preparing for JEE MAINS/ADVANCED. The syllabus is exactly similar to JEE MAINS.

You can solve its previous year questions to see the marking scheme and the pattern in which questions are asked. You have to be very fast with your calculations and also very accurate. A difference of 2–3 marks brings a lot of difference in the rank.
