It's pretty good that you have good percentage in college but for working in a private company you need to focus upon their topic of work also. For example the current hot topics are Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, IOT, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. You can go for these topics if you want to go in IT field.

Hi Shilpa, it is nice if you are thinking about your future. All you need is just confidence firstly. A company needs someone who is very hardworking and brainy. You just cannot rely upon your academics. Experience is vry important thing. You have to get all the knowledge about the field you are interested in. Engineering makes you very expert in every aspect. Work on good positions in societies,workshops etc. Building good resume and personality helps you to put great impression on company, but experience is must factor. Work hard ,all the best.

It's nice that you have good academic result but you need to decide first which field you want to get employed , after deciding your field you need to do some projects and intern in that field so you build good resume and have impression on company's HR and moreover increase you aptitude and also you speaking skills for group discussion and interviews. If you did this job is yours
