Hi aspirant,
You have three ways to become captain in a ship.
- If you have completed your 12th, you can do B.Sc in Nautical science and then join in a naval company and start your career as cadet. After various exams and promotions like 3rd officer, 2nd officer, 1st officer, chief officer, finally captain.
- If you are not interested with undergraduate degree, then select diploma course DNS. It will be a harder process to become captain than undergraduate degree.
- If you do Gp course after 10th, you can also become captain. It will be more challenging than the previous two.
