dear aspirant,

AMIE is recognised by Govt. of India and is valid for IES, UPSC, GATE, IES and Govt Jobs (where Eq. B.Tech degree is also mentioned.

It is equivalent to Graduation in Engineering by both MHRD for employment in Govt Jobs and by UGC for post graduate admissions.

IE(India) is itself a statutory body and hence doesn't come under AICTE
