Animal Diversity 1 classification

Hello.,

R.H Whittaker classified the 5 kingdom system of classification which has been studied mostly rather than 1, 2 , 3, 4 and 6 kingdom of classification.

Five kingdom classification consists of

1. Monera - eg. Bacteria

2. Protista

3. Fungi

4. Plantar

5. Animalia.

Kingdom Animalia if further divided into different classes depending upon their structural level such as cellular level., Tissue level., Organ and organ system level. Depending upon these level Animalia classified into different phyla sucha as

1. Phylum porifera

2. Phylum coelenterata

3. Phylum platyhelminthes

4. Phylum Annelida

5. Phylum Arthropoda

6. Phylum Mollusca

7. Phylum Nematoda

8. Phylum Echinodermata

9. Phylum protochordata or hemichordata.

And also the phylum vertebrae.
