If the cut off in ME is set to 25 this year you are going to have a good score. You are looking for good institutes. If you are looking for any of the IITs then you need to have a score of at least 650(as you belong to OBC ). ... In that case you will not get the good institutes you are looking for M.Tech.

Hi,
There is a minimum marks requirement for qualifying GATE which depends on the department of engineering that you want to pursue as well as the category i.e. general, SC, ST, PwD or OBC in which you belong. You can check the minimum qualifying marks during 2018 in this link.
