any preference for girl candidates for mechanical course

It has been decided to admit more women from the 2018 academic session. The 20% supernumerary seats will be seperately available for women.
But this is just on a draft basis and no law has still been created. So till,now no preferences are given to females.
Marks and rankings are the sole criteria.

As our country now days do not discriminate between boys and girls so there will be no preference is given to girl especially for the mechanical branch in admission procedure . After wards in branch you will get preference.
