Are lower NITs are better (computer science branch)?

Hello!
Most of the lower ranked NITs are better than private universities like SRM, VIT, etc. in India. NITs have a better standard of education. The faculty is also very good. NIT is an institute of national importance and companies tend to hire a lot of graduates from these type of colleges.
