Hello Aspirant,

First of all make one thing very clear that there are no direct admission to NITs for any course, as you are an Engineering Aspirant of class 12th so you might be asking about B.Tech admission. For B.Tech you have to appear in JEE-Main and you should qualify it with good marks then only you will be eligible for getting admission to NITs.

As of now second attempt of JEE-Main is scheduled from September 1st-6th so after this the final result along with cut-off will be declared and on the basis of that result counselling will be done by JOSAA for seat allotment in various NITs/IITs/IIITs/GFTIs and so on.
