There is nothing like that private colleges are better than goverment colleges or government colleges are better than private colleges.Both have their own characteristics and significance.
There are Central Government Colleges which include IHM Delhi, IHM Mumbai, IHM Bangalore, IHM Chennai etc that have high placement records.
On the other hand Private Institutes like Deewan group of institutions,Wgsha(Manipal), Christ University, IHM Aurangabad (Affiliated with Taj Hotels)
Manipal University
SRM University
Oberoi group's OCLD
Amity University.
LPU
and so on....and all have their own track record and are good in their own way...Its only upto you that which one you will prefer
