*Arts Courses for PMSSS 2024-25*
Here are some arts courses available under the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for the academic year 2024-25 ¹ ²:
- *General Degree Courses*: These courses are available in over 150 colleges under PMSSS. Students can choose from a variety of subjects, including arts, humanities, social sciences, and more.
- *Professional Courses*: PMSSS also offers scholarships for professional courses like engineering, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, and law.
- *Other Courses*: Students can also apply for scholarships for other courses like HMCT (Hotel Management and Catering Technology) and BALLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law).
*Eligibility Criteria*
To be eligible for PMSSS 2024-25, students must meet the following criteria ¹:
- Must be a resident of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh
- Must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board
- Must have secured admission in a recognized college or university outside Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh
- Must not be availing any other scholarship or financial assistance
*Application Process*
The application process for PMSSS 2024-25 is expected to start in May 2024 and end in June 2024 . Students can apply online through the AICTE website. They will need to register and fill out the application form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee.
