as an icse student, if i clear je mains what is the percentage should i get in 12th icse to get a seat in nit's and iit colleges

There is not a fixed percentage you require in your 12th to get into NIT,you just have to be in top 20percentage of your board.According to last year records for CBSE it was around 83 to 84% be in the top 20 percentile.But if you wanna secured good all India rank in mains, board percentage is very deciding criteria.
And Top 20 percentile means whether you are above 80% of students appeared or not.
