As i had one backlog and i can complete in oct2018 of which which option i had to go through for year of qualifing degree

It's depends upon university rules.
If they conduct special carry over or back log paper then you can apear in and qualified that exam.
If they are not conduct any special back log paper then you have to wait for that paper in specific sem.
