As the gate results are approaching,with what score I can expect entry into iit or nit for Sc category.

As you are having a reservation category of SC then a score of around 400-500 will be sufficient to get you into IIT's.
You can get into NIT's with 350-400 GATE score. It is also dependent on your stream as required GATE score for Biotech or Chemical or instumentation is less as compared to EE or Mech.

As the results of gate are still has to announce, we can only predict by observing previous cutoffs ..i.e.,
In 2018 ..for SC CATEGORY 16-30 MARKS BASED ON PAPER
So in 2019 also we can expect cutoffs similar to 2018
