Dear Pournima, NEET is the entrance examination for admission to Medical Colleges across India including AIIMS and JIPMER. Now there are approximately 95,000 MBBS seats. With AIIMS and JIPMER exams being scrapped off, approximately 1700 MBBS seats will be added to the existing lot. What we need to remember here is AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS exams have been scrapped off in favour of NEET and not the other way round. So, the NEET pattern will continue to be what it was and this means questions will be asked only in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. No other sections will be added. So you need to only prepare for these 3 subjects. Now coming to Assertion Reasoning in 2021, it is a long way to go and such questions have never been asked before and the chances that they might be asked now are less. The questions will be straightforward. Now given the fact that you need to answer 180 questions in 3 hours with calculations needed in Physics, it is unlikely that you will be asked Assertion reasoning questions. This.means time required will be more. So for now, please go through previous question papers and familiarise yourself with the questions generally asked.

Hello,
There has been no official announcement regarding the New NEET pattern yet. Till now the NEET exam did not have any assertion reasoning type questions and it is expected to not come in the coming years either without prior notice. However, it's best to prepare for all types of questions but practice more for the usual neet pattern since it's the most probable pattern.
