At what percentile I get Btech CSE in Top Colleges, NITs etc.
If you get above 95 percentile you can get very good colleges in your domain with your demanding branch. Good college plays a very important role in future life similarly getting your interested branch is very essential for your future perspective, try to get above 90 percentile.

Hi Mudassir, in order to get CSE in top 5 NITs, your rank should be below 4000. in order to get CSE among top 10-12 NITs, your rank should be less than 15000. Hence we can calculate percentile like this
for 1st case:
(900000-4000)*100/900000
= 99.55
while for 2nd case, it should be
(900000-15000)*100/900000
= 98.33

Getting a percentile score of around 98 to 100 percentile in JEE Mains, will easily fetch you, a good college or Top NITs, for your Btech in Computer science engineering.
