There are possibilities for getting a job in both government and private sectors after completing B.Pharma. Some of the government jobs available are
- Pharmacist in government hospitals and nursing homes.
- Medical representative
- Drug technician in government firms
- As a medical advisor in government colleges and universities
- As a quality control associate
Some of the job profiles available in private field are:
- As a pharmacist in private hospitals
- Drug sales representative
- Drug therapist
- Pathelogical lab scientist
- As a researcher in pharmacy labs
- As a medical advisor in private firms and companies etc.
Also, you can take government exams such as bank exam or civil service exams if you are interested in that stream.

Job opportunities for BPharma are there in Hospitals, Medical Clinics, Government Drug research Institutes, Indian Companies like Dr. Reddys Laboratories, Sun Pharmaceuticals,Lupin,Cipla,Piramal and then there are international drug research companies such as Johnson & Johnson,Pfizer,AbbVie,Novartis, Baxter, Covance, Novo Nordisk, Amgen,Merck,GlaxoSmithkline, Nestle, Abbott, Cipla etc.
Job profile includes that of Drug Inspector, Pharmaceutical Scientist,Medical Writer, Drug Safety Associate, Clinical Research Associate, sales and marketing executive in Pharma/ Biotech firms, etc.In addition to this, you can also open your own chemist shop. Similarly, there are various government exams based on the eligibility of graduation which you can appear such as UPSC or state PSCs, banking, insurance exams for different posts of clerk/assistant, po etc or CDS exam,you can appear for drug inspector exams as recruited from time to time.
