Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Chemical Engineering is a four year undergraduate degree course in engineering. The course is designed to impart concepts of Chemical Engineering and in depth knowledge of Chemical Management and extraction concepts. You can persue for Masters and PhD on the same.
The basic eligibility criteria is either you can do diploma from any polytechnic college after class 10 board and then join in B.Tech college as lateral entry or 10+2 pass from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Admissions to BTech Chemical Engineering ( 10+2 level )colleges are done on the basis of entrance exams. such as JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, LPU NEST, SRMJEEE, etc.
BTech Chemical Engineering Jobs are available in sectors like Oil, Gas and Energy, Manufacturing and consumer goods, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical Industries and various PSUs. Salary differs for candidates based upon their college etc.

You may pursue Associate Degree A.M.I.E (Equivalent to B.Tech) from Institution of Engineers, India. A.M.I.E. is recognised by AICTE as well as All Employers and Top Educational Institutions being equivalent to B.Tech. You even have Chemical Engineering among various other A.M.I.E. Engineering Disciplines.
