HI,

The magnetic field that exists is B=Bo(i+2j+4k) at a certain point.

To check if the nature of B is solenoidal or not, you need to apply divergence on the magnetic field.

A solenoidal vector field is a vector field v with divergence is zero at all points in the field:

div (Bo)=0

Applying this, you will find that the nature is solenoidal.
