BC-E category comes under sub caste of muslim category. It would be better if you could check out the subcaste of your category. In the link given below just check out your caste and its category by selecting your state:

Also, if you are eligible for OBC category, then you must apply through obc caste certificate. As EWS category comes under General category/open category.
