Selecting the bachelors degree must be dependent upon only one factor which is your interest.
In B. com students are exposed to various fields like: Accounting, Taxation, Business laws, Corporate laws, Auditing, Banking, Insurance, Finance, Retail management.
So if you are having interest in the above mentioned fields you can surely go for B. com
It is a good choice. Many students from commerce background go for b.com after completion of their 12th
