There is a minimum qualification of intermediate that is 12th board with physics, chemistry and mathematics as your main subjects. Every college has a different way of giving admission for BE courses. Some provide on the basis of JEE mains and some take their own  entrance exams.

In order to take admission in BE/ B.tech programme, You must have completed or appearing class 12th. IIT JEE is the National level Exam for the admission into Engineering programme. As per the eligibility to apply for IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, You should have minimum 75% in class 12th as a General Category & 65% as a reserved category or you should be in top 20 percentile in class 12th from the respective board.
