Being an ST candidate if I get 5848 category rank will I be able to get NIT?

Hi there,
Sorry Rahul, but with an ST category rank of 5848, you won't be able to get into an NIT since most of them have a closing rank of around 5000, but you have a chance for some GFTIs and some private colleges also accept students on the basis of JEE mains score, so you also have your luck there.
