I would not “suggest” one or the other. Instead, I feel, you might benefit from trying to understand yourself a little more. For instance, what was/is your Bachelors / UG qualification? And with that, explore which of the MA options are valid from an eligibility perspective.

Each subject has its own areas of tremendous opportunities and areas of work, provided you are a good student.

In MA Sociology course which provides an opportunity to learn about human society, social customs and different social systems on a deeper level it will help. It opens up job opportunities in the fields such as Education, Media and Journalism, Public Relations, and Administration.

M.A History papers are somewhat difficult while compared to M.A Sociology. So it is completely on your interest that what you want to pursue and where do you see yourself.
