The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for counselling and seat allocation of candidates who will clear JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JoSAA will conduct counselling for JEE Main qualifying candidates and will allot seats for admissions to the participating institutes, which consist of NITs, IIITs and other-GFTIs. It is expected that JoSAA 2017 counselling and seat allotment will be conducted in six rounds.
