Bihar B.Ed admission is conducted through the Bihar B.Ed CET examination . For 2025, the minimum qualifying marks to participate in counselling are approximately 35% (around 42 out of 120 marks) for General category and 30% (around 36 marks) for reserved categories like SC, ST, BC, EBC, EWS, and others.
For government colleges, the cutoff is usually higher. In previous trends, General category candidates often needed 80+ marks for top government colleges. OBC/EWS candidates generally required around 60–75 marks, while SC/ST candidates needed around 45–60 marks, depending on seat availability and competition.
Private colleges usually have lower cutoffs compared to government colleges. Final cutoffs vary each year based on exam difficulty, number of applicants, and counselling rounds.
